I recount a journey to India, particularly a visit to the renowned Taj Mahal and other historical sites. I join a private tour led by two guides, one helpful and informative, while the other is pushy and focused on earning commissions. Despite some frustrations and a disappointing local market, I enjoy the beauty of the Taj Mahal and the Agra Fort. I face accommodation challenges in New Delhi but eventually all ends well. The journey concludes with plans for a road trip to a hill station in south India.

After leaving the chaos of Mumbai, I enjoy a tranquil escape to Goa, here I unwind by the beach and explore the countryside on a scooter. I experience local culture, join friends for dinner, and deal with a stomach bug before a memorable first date. The trip concludes with plans to visit the Taj Mahal in Agra.

After attending an Indian wedding in Mumbai, Nick explores the city’s chaotic streets with his friend Sara, appreciating its colonial architecture and diverse cultures. They visit Dharavi slums and experience daily life, despite traffic chaos and pollution. Their adventures include a failed spa outing and amusing Uber struggles, setting the scene for future travels.
